I.AM.IT. the BattleKATT

In a world filled with stereo typical views, especially in the south asian community a young up and coming MC is not only making a name for himself, but is voicing the opinion of his generation. This south asian rapper known as BattleKATT has been involved in the industry for years starting off by joining his high school bhangra team(Nachda Punjab), and over the years, through the struggle and pain evolving into the artist he is today.BattleKATT aka I.AM.IT. originally know as K.A.T.T. (Kamakazee.Asian.Track.Terrorist.) has been makin his presence felt in the underground Hip Hop scene for a long time and now is taking his talent to the next level.This asian MC has been very busy in the studio working on collaborations with artists such as Harbhajan Talwar, Sukhdev Sukha, Bob Mann, living legend Kuldip Manak, HMD, Jagua, EnKarma, Alan Africa, B.Morales, Scape and the list is getting bigger by the day. BattleKATT has also done performances with RDB, Harbhajan Talwar and the Rishi Rich Project alongside Bob Mann. Also opening up for Punjabi MC with HMD, performing with HMD, Jagua, DJ Delerious, and Deep the insane dholi at the first Vancouver Desifest, and getting flown to Toronto and perform with none other than Apache Indian.BattleKATT has big plans for the future. He has just completed his first solo single "Chaos" (produced by Bob Mann) which will be the title track on the up and coming movie called Sweet Amerika. This movie stars international superstar Gulshan Grover. The remix to Chaos will be featured on a mixtape dropping late Dec.2008/early 2009 which is produced by B.Morales. Currently in the works is his solo album. While in the industry, rap artists come a dime a dozen, BattleKATT definitely separates himself from the rest with his distinctive sounding voice and use of lyricism. This talented artist is breaking down stereo typical barriers that exist in the bhangra industry and will create windows of opprtunity for the next generation.............
