I'm Sober! HA,ha ha HAAAAAAAAAAA! Can't really believe it, But So grateful. Really just getting to know the new me so can't tell you a lot. I love the A & A. I Have a great group of guys I hang with on a daily basis. This whole sobie thing is like being on a boat for a several days. The first few hours you have to learn how to walk. after that it becomes second nature. you walk around the deck without a problem and don't even have to think about the rocking of the ship. After a couple days your so used to it that when you get back on land it feels like the entire earth is moving below you. Its then difficult to walk on solid ground. When I first started drinking I had to learn how to party. It took Me awhile to build my tolerance, not vomit inside, stay conscious, ect. However, I soon became very good at drinking and it became second nature. Just like the constant rocking of the ship, my drinking and using became constant as well. After a time I didn't even notice it anymore and a drunken state of mind had become my normal state of mind. When I got off this alcoholic voyage, normal life wasn't so easy. Social situations were awkward, simple tasks were difficult and my self confidence was lacking. I've been back on solid ground for a few days now and I'm happy to say that my land-legs are coming back.
