Everyone that God allows me to meet during my journey here. Professionally I would like to meet Tyler Perry (I honor his spirit) Sidney Poitier (he is the consummate "FOUNDER" of intelligent African American men in film, Denzel Washington who is the new Sidney Portier, Oprah Winfrey who has achieved the honor and respect of the world, Maya Angelo (her poetic insight is phenomenal) Monique (she is a stand up sista who doesn't give a dayum about what people think of her...I love it), Halle Berry for breaking the barrier for African American women in film and Dianah Carroll (a theatrical pioneer and one of the strongest and most beautiful African American women in the world), when I grow up I would like to be just like her.(smile)Personally if it were possible for me to meet "the" ideal man I suspect because I am so busy, when the time is right I would like a long term relationship with the man in my life who can laugh with me, laughter should be a major part of our relationship...we need to be able to laugh at anything. We MUST begin as friends, after all if we are not friends, how can we truly appreciate the lover?? I expect him to be fit/athletic energetic and active. I am not one to sit idle, I hope that he would be spontaneous and want to surprise me. (It's the small gestures that count)He MUST BE secure and trusting enough to not have to be with me on a constant basis but believe that I have him on my mind always, and be my refuge after a hard day or week depending on our schedules. He should carry me in his spirit as I will carry him in mine. He should also know that I do not do games and want to spend every "free" moment with him. He should be my "road dawg" too since I travel extensively!(smile) I've been blessed in my lifetime, however there is nothing more fulfilling than the feeling of loving someone that loves you just as much.
