Outside my hours of work, my main passion is guitars. I'm having lessons on my pride and joy; a BC Rich Mockingbird. Thanks to Paul and Patch, I'm playing things I never thought I would.....
Horror literature/movies is another big thing in my life. Book wise; Shaun Hutson truly is THE Godfather of Gore. He's grisly good! Sam Raimi, Lucio Fulci and George Romero are three hugely talented beasts whom I admire hugely.....
Body modification (tattoos/piercings) is another fascination of mine. I am actually looking into training in body piercing right now. It's definitely a job I've always wanted to do - I love tattoos of all shapes and sizes/styles/colours. Planning a full sleeve at the moment. Started a couple of small pieces, but planning a larger image right now. Dan Henk would be my ideal tattooist.....
Music, of course is another passion. Can't really say I have a favourite band of all time; but Twisted Sister and Guns n Roses are definitely are up there. I'm also an uber fan of Steve Steinman's work with Vampires Rock, Meat Loaf Trilogy etc. I've been going to his shows for four years now - they're getting more kick-ass every year! The band are mind blowing and Toyah can stay as long as she wants! lol.....
Lastly, I am a Spiritualist. Which yes, it does mean I believe in God and an afterlife and that we can speak with the deceased. Oh my God! I hear you cry. You listen to metal/goth music and like horror/vampires; that means you must be a Satanist who sacrifices goats on the stroke of midnight. Enjoying paranormal investigations and communing with the 'dead' does not mean I made a pact with Satan. Communing with the dead is not scary, believe me, I've done it.....
