I'm just here to keep in touch with old friends. However, I'm game if I don't know you, and you'd still like to add me.I live in Albuquerque, NM (the land of sand), and I'm a junior at the University of New Mexico. I'm working toward a bachelor's degree with a dual major in Psychology and English. Ultimately, I want to teach at the middle or high school level, and I'm hoping to get endorsed to teach Language Arts, Psychology and possibly one other area. I'm mostly here to keep in touch with old friends, but I would really like to meet others.I don't drink, and I don't smoke, but I like to hang out with whomever needs company. My goal in life is to become a teacher and then settle down and have a family, and I'm looking for someone to share that experience with.I love to read and write, and I try to do those whenever possible. I also have a deep passion for volleyball that is ten years in the making. I'll listen to any song with an open ear and then pass my judgement. I don't keep my musical interests to specific artists. I'm re-teaching myself how to play the flute, but I'm only doing it for enjoyment.I have a mother and older sister, and we have a decent relationship that can be tightened when the need arises.My passion of the moment is writing. When I was younger, I could always be found with a notebook writing some kind of story. I mostly write realistic fiction both long and short, although I might write a poem every now and then. My long and short stories can have intense personal ties, or they can have none at all. My poems are generally inspired through present life events; sometimes I write them for occasions like Christmas, Valentine's Day, or the Constitution Day door-decorating contest at the middle school I work at. In addition to being an author, I also practice writing words with calligraphy. My style of calligraphy is very basic, but it gets the job done on school certificates and poems.I do my share of things well, but there are other aspects of life that don't come easily to me and require tons of practice. I've got calligraphy on my side, but it would behove you to never ask me to draw.Feel free to drop me a line if you'd be interested in getting acquainted.
