FERNANDO ARIAS (writer/producer/actor/co-founder)
Fernando Arias was born on September 14, 1977 in Miami, Florida. He attended Southwest Miami High School, and briefly attended Miami-Dade College. A one-time painter, illustrator, poet and musician, Fernando acquired a passion for storytelling in his teens. In 1996, he began experimenting with the form of screenwriting. During this period he also began experimenting with a video camera and furthered his interests film. He has co-written several screenplays over the past ten years. In 2003, he made his acting debut in the short film The Poker Game. This performance was followed by an appearance in Retribution (2004). As co-founder of Mr. the Fink Productions, he continues to write and produce, as well as find creative business solutions to secure financing for the groups first feature film.
DAVID SAYRE (writer/director/producer/co-founder)
David Sayre was born on September 9, 1977 in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Southwest Miami High School before attending Miami-Dade College for two years. He left school to pursue a career in film. In 1996, David began writing screenplays and has since written or co-written over a dozen scripts. In 2000, he made his first attempts at directing, ultimately leading to his directorial debut with the 2003 short film The Poker Game. Sayre wrote, produced and directed two more short films over the next three years, Retribution (2004) and Mystery Showcase (2006). Through years of self-motivated, individual research David has acquired an extensive knowledge of film history, a subject he enjoys writing about and discussing. Among his favorite films are Citizen Kane, Lawrence of Arabia, Do the Right Thing and Cradle Will Rock. His major influences as a filmmaker are Orson Welles, John Cassavetes, Spike Lee and John Sayles. In addition to writing for Pictures and Frames magazine, David continues to write and direct, looking to make his feature film debut.
JORGE DOMINGO (director of photography/editor/writer/producer)
Jorge Domingo, born on April 24,1980 in Miami, Florida. Graduated from South Miami High School's Magnet program in Computer Graphics in 1998. Attended Miami Int'l University of Art & Design (formerly Int'l Fine Arts College) and graduated with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Computer Animation in 2002. Also attended at Miami-Dade College for Film Production. Jorge wrote, shot, edited and directed many of his own short films. One of his short films he co-wrote, shot and edited, titled "Supremacy" was officially selected for the Miami Int'l Short Film Festival in 2005. Jorge was introduced to David Sayre by Fernando Arias, one of the co-founders of Mr. the Fink Productions and now is the Director of Photography and Editor for many of Mr. the Fink's productions for more than 10 years.
