Painted Thin

This a tribute page for the band Painted Thin, created by a long-time fan from germany. This page serves as a reminder of how great this band, which split up in 1999, was. A short Painted Thin history wrap-up: The band was formed in Winnipeg in the early nineties by Paul Furgale (vocals, bass) and Stephen Carroll (guitar, vocals). These two guys were the core of the band. A lot of changing members from other bands from Winnipeg like the Weakerthans, Red Fisher, I-Spy, The Bonaduces helped the band in supporting roles. They toured Canada a lot, and even did a couple of european (especially german) tours. After the release of the "Still they die of heartbreak EP" Stephen left the band to join The Weakerthans a few months later. After Stephen..s departure, Paul (with the help of many other musicians from Winnipeg..s vital music scene (see band members!)) released one more album, "Clear, plausible stories". After that release, Paul went on to play with Sixty Stories.
If anyone/someone can provide more info/help/etc i..d be very thankful! I can use almost every info, ranging from photos to other rare stuff or even layout suggestions.
