About Me

Greetings. My full name is Mordecai Peter Centennial Brown but I am nicknamed "Three Finger" or "Miner". I was born in born in Nyesville, Indiana. I was an American Major League Baseball pitcher at the turn of the 20th century. Due to a farm-machinery accident in my youth, I lost parts of two fingers on my right hand and eventually acquired my nickname as a result. Overcoming this handicap and turning it to my advantage, I became one of the elite pitchers of my era.
