I was born in Toledo, Ohio. Moved to Michigan when I was 8, and lived in Hudson till I was 18. Then on to Albion College where I was a Studio Art Major, Biology Minor, and worked in the college greenhouse. Went to South Africa for a semester abroad. Graduated in '03.
I currently live in Chicago with my fiance, Steve , also an artist, our two cats, Monkey & Elvis (Costello, not Presley), and a painted turtle. I work at Northwestern in the Visual Media Collection. These days my life is filled with more design than art. Knitting has been my creative outlet for a while.
