I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I am a proud Mom of three boys! I am a military wife and have lived in several different places. I am from Texas. I have lived in Florida, Seattle, the Washington D.C. area, Europe, Southern Illinois and now I am living in Western Missouri. I also had the opportunity to visit Korea a couple of times the year my husband spent there. I have been able to travel a lot to include many different states and several countries. However, my most favorite city in the world is NYC. I got to go there with my best friend once and with my husband once. Both times, I loved it! I have moved a lot and I have made some great friends along the way. I have learned that saying goodbye is truly one of the hardest things to do! I am also pursuing my degree and I have made signifigant progress. I enjoy crafts, reading a good book, spending time with my boys and doing and learning new things. My boys truly are God's gift to me. I am so grateful! God has been good to me! I could not ask for more.

My Interests

I love reading! I love going on dates with my husband. I love doing crafts especially scrapbooking and making jewelry. I like spending time with family and friends. I like to try new things. I love it when my kids teach me something new (which is almost daily). I enjoy watching a good movie and I look forward to my Thursday night TV time! I enjoy cooking. I really enjoy trying new recipes that sound good. I enjoy playing board games with my family or just sitting around and hanging out with my family talking about whatever.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

I like all kinds of music. It really depends on my mood.

Movies:

My favorite movie in the world is A Few Good Men. The best romance is The Notebook. My favorite Romantic-Comedy is How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days. I really like The Devil Wears Prada because I once worked for someone just like the character Miranda! I try to get around to watching movies whenever possible but a lot of times they are older before I ever get to see them. I really enjoy romantic-comedies though. I do enjoy going to the movies once in while when I get the chance. I most recently watched the The HeartBreak Kid which was crude in the most obnoxious way, but I still thought it was funny. A lot of times I watch a movie with my oldest son that he likes. Of course, I can not forget about the 80's classics like; Pretty in Pink, The Breakfast Club, St. Elmo's Fire, About Last Night and of course Top Gun!

Television:

I really like Grey's Anatomy these days. That show really ROCKS and if I can't watch I am always sure to record it. It is my most favorite show. I do not get much of a chance to watch any other TV even though I hear that there are a lot of good shows out there right now. My kids and I like to watch America's Funniest Videos and The Jamie Kennedy Experiment whenever we can.

Books:

I LOVE to read. I read fiction and non-fiction. I love learning new things. Since I read so much for school, I especially enjoy reading books that do not take a whole lot of effort. I know it is sad, but I do enjoy a lot of chic-lit. Sometimes I do read things that are a little deep though too.

Heroes:

Ed is my hero! He really inspires me to be a better person. He is a pretty great guy who is super patient with me and really understanding. He has always been there for me- he is the best! And my three wonderful little boys: Jonathan- for his witty sense of humor. He is growing up way too fast! Zachary for his serious nature and thoughtfulness of other people. He really keeps me in line! Dylan- because he can make the darkest moment go away with just his smile. I think he keeps me young or would that be he is making me old?
