Apostasy:
1 - renunciation of a religious faith
2 - abandonment of a previous loyalty
This is the band that Never was. When I was 15 years old in 1992, I started playing bass guitar for this Band, Accursed. It was the first somewhat successful band I had the pleasure to play with. The Band was started by Chris Savini and was originally had "Cross" on vocals. Due to personal differences Cross decided to part ways with us. We then got Tony Blakk as the vocalist/ frontman and changed the band name to Apostasy shortly after in 1992.
Apostasy as a whole was a band filled with talented musicians and right when we were starting to make a mark the everyday bullshit of life got in the way. Drama started to fill our lives. I moved on to other things and quit the band when I was 17 (1994). They went on to record one more Demo (Unholy Conversion) under the same name but disbanded shortly there after.
This Demo contains five songs created with the intention of undermining all righteous and pious individuals who worship ANY religious Dogma.
