About me...I am an artist at heart. I love all kinds of activities including photography, drawing, painting, fiber arts, and art shows. I like music but not much of the garbage put out by today's "artists"... mostly because I feel that the formula songs are dull, overplayed, and all the same shit. I find that I enjoy life more every year, and as I connect with old friends I realize how truly blessed I am.I do like a drink now and then, my preference now seems to be Gentleman Jack with a diet coke on the side. I like to have fun with my friends and go out now and then. Partying has taken on different meanings as I grow older. There is no substitute for good friends, the true blue ones you want to sometimes strangle or punch, but you love them all the same. I have found that loving someone requires you to overlook a few flaws. No one is perfect, especially me.Currently I am a full time student, and I hope to graduate in 2009. Maybe then I can get a real job!My favorite past times as of late are: Going to the dog park, drawing, spending time with my family and friends, gardening, and of course goofing off. I hope to do some traveling this summer but I don't think finances will permit it.Well that's all for now... Ciao

My Interests

Music:

I like most music, except for really negative stuff. I love Opera, Disco, Rock and Roll, some Rap, very little Pop, and some of the newer stuff. I cant keep up with it all, seems like something new is coming out every day, so I just dont have the time to keep up.

Movies:

Foreign Flix, Xmen, Spiderman but not Superman (dont know why...) Girl flix bore me usually, but action flix with no story are just as bad. At least with girl flix you can hear afterwards...

Television:

HATE REALITY SHOWS!!!! AHHHH really do we need them on EVERY channel??

Books:

Lately I only have time for text books, but there are a few books that are amazing. The Power Of One is an amazing story. I recently read Tom Sawyer and Huckelberry Finn and loved them. I also like ethnic books, I am going through some Chicano writers now... I will let you know.

Heroes:

My daughter Sarah because she is so smart, My husband Philip because he loves me even though he has to live with me! And my friends Antonia and Alexis, two smart and beautiful women I admire greatly!
