What's up Myspacers and those alike! The name is Illy Rock and I'm representing the city of Rocky Mount, aka Rock City, North Carolina. Born and raised. It's not the biggest place in the world or the most proud place to rep but I love it for all that its worth. Point blank.For those of you who don't know, I am a music video director, writer (film, plays, music, etc.), rapper/Hip Hopper, and above all else, one of the realest, coolest, and humblest (if that's a word) person walking this green, blue, brown, and whatever other color, Earth. I love what I do and plan on doing it until I can no longer walk on my own...and maybe even then, I'll just do all of the easy work.I am, was, will be, a student at the School of Communication Arts in Raleigh, North Carolina. I took some time off for financial reasons, which lead to my decision in joining the US Army. So far, I'm proud of my decision and I'm still going to pursue my dreams with the extra boost and newfound confidence. I can now say that I Am an American Soldier, and actually mean it!As far as how I became who I am today, I can only thank my parents, the city, friends, close fam, and the random people who have come in adn out of my life throughout the years. I am a product of living, not just my environment. I believe everything happens for a reason, and there is no problem we may run into that we cannot overcome. God wouldn't throw us an obstacle we could not overcome. That's why I never panic...at least nothing too serious.I grew up on Williford (800 block, ABM) Street, located in Rocky Mount's Southside. Life here has left me with joy, pain, laughter, tears, scars, love, and the experience in certain situations to succeed in almost anything that comes my way.I have accepted the fact that women are my weak spot. Not my weak spot as in I have a lot of sympathy for them or nothing like that, but I just love being with them, around them, anyway or form. I love them! But, I am, unlike most guys, a one woman man. Yes, true believer of love and happiness and all that jive...lol. I've learned from them, loved them, grown with them, and done just about everything but kill for or with them. I'm not married yet so that fun part is on hold.I have a lot of associates and very few friends. I chose to limit my circle a long time ago. People come and they go. You can always tell which ones are there to stay. I'm not gonna dwell on this for too long because just as I have had friends just walk out of my life, I've had some leave tragically and won't ever see them again, even if I wanted to...And last but not least, the FAM!!!! We ride together, we die together, we eat together! The FAM consists of the closest of us which are related. We're always together in some kind of mischief or just having fun. It's a family thing! LOL! The FAM also consists of people lucky enough and close enough to be considered Honorable FAM members, even though their not related. There's very few of them but the FAM is constantly growing. People keep having babies!I know this is hella long but it is the About Me section and this is, for the most part, me. There's plenty more, really way troo much, to type in so you'll just have to get to know me. I respond to any and all so feel free. Learn from me...Until I see or hear from you again, just remember its I'm the Prince for a reason. I haven't earned the right to be King just yet.
