Influences: Producer C- Ballin is exactly what this era of music has been thirsting for. Since making the decision to transition from musician to producer in 2002, he’s given more than just meager sips to this industry. C-Ballin has worked with Snoop Dogg, (one of the most successful and talented rappers of all time), for over four years. He has also collaborated with the likes of Naz, Redman, The Game, Akon, Neyo, Ray J, and Brandy to scratch the surface.
C- Ballin has gained a reputation that exalts his unique style- diversity. He refuses to box himself into one sound like many producers have done in today’s music. When it comes down to a hit record, C- Ballin has mastered the ability to feel out his diamonds from the dust.
Although he has made great strides in his pursuit of success, Ballin acknowledges his help.He draws from his inspirations that include Just Blaze,D.J. Battlecat, Timberland, Kanye, and The Great DJ Quick from the Compton, California.
His success lies in knowing the key factor of survival in the music industry is- longevity. Being able to survive requires adaptation to sounds as they change throughout the years. Not only must you adapt, but also be able to reinvent yourself- something C-Ballin has mastered. He believes music is entering into a new phase. But during this transition, music has lost its sense of flavor and originality. Eventually, everyone must stop cooking out of the same pot.
