Rhyme Addicts is a Los Angeles based Hip Hop group. Members include, I Suppose, Ill Werd and Xp the Marksman. With 3 core members representing the crew on the front line, the RA team has a full army of soldiers, that include engineers, producers, street team, security and staff members. Everyone who is down with the group is an addict. Founded in June 2006, The Rhyme Addicts have been spreading through Southern California like wildfires. They have rocked madd shows and have shared stages with artists such as, Crooked I, Chino XL, Defari, Psycho Realm/Sick Symphoniez, Masta Ace, Sly Boogy, Planet Asia, Dirty Birdy, KRS-ONE, Aceyalone, Medusa, Visionaries, 2MEX, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Strong Arm Steady, Grime, RedCloud, Ohno, Roc C, Percee P, Mykill Miers, Pacewon, West Coast Wu Tang Killa Bees, Otherwize, Wordsworth, Olmeca, Acid Reign, Aztlan Underground, Quinto Sol and many more. Their sound is raw and hardcore, but unlike many groups in that field, RA represents the true essence of Hip Hop. How often do you hear a group that can chop your head off with hiv infected razor sharp swords (in a metaphorical sense) and still be in the same category as Kool G Rap, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and KRS-ONE? The Rhyme Addicts are definitely a breath of fresh air. In the past 3 years, RA has been building a strong buzz in Los Angeles through their performances, which are madd live and energetic. Already headlining small events around the city, the Rhyme Addicts are destined to reach the top. The group just released their debut album, titled, Showtime, which was produced entirely by Los Angeles based producers, State Of The Art.
