About Me

I am an independent woman who others call an individual, easy-going, mellow, gentle loving soul.

I delight in the beauty of nature and waking to the sound of birds singing every morning. I love to travel, explore, and discover... art, a beautiful view, a great cafe, and the many wonders in the world. I love Pallas cats, Citroen DS 21 Pallas, and Norway.

I love the architecture of Copenhagen by bicycle. I enjoy little adventures such as trail riding Danish Warmbloods among Viking ruins at a castle in Denmark... to riding the beaches and bluffs of Ensenada; to waking at dawn while camping in the North Cascades to float in a raft on a tern, watching the mist rise off the water and the sun rise in the blue skies over the mountains- in absolute stillness and quiet... except for the sound of fish jumping.

It would have been even better to have a sweetie to share these activities with. It's like "Ho hum, just another day in paradise" and no one is there to take my picture! LOL! Just kidding! I meant to say no one is there to lean over to snuggle and kiss.

I went to Woodstock and still have the tickets and program stored in a box somewhere with my SDS, Black Panther rally, Women's Rights, and March On Washington against the Viet Nam war memorabilia. I am probably quite conservative by today's standards. I love spending time with my grandkids. I am still young at heart.

I love God, Jesus, little miracles, and to worship Him in nature. I love to play in waterfalls.

I love to laugh and can still giggle. I can be quite funny and creative, and I have a US patent for a product that has received global attention. I have started a collection of earflap hats. I love Cirque du Soliel. I love beauty, and nature. And horses. A lot.

So I like horseshows a lot. Particularly cross-country, jumping, 3-day eventing, musical freestyle dressage, and cutting. I loved growing up next door to the Fairfield Hunt Club and hanging out with and assisting Emerson Burr. I miss my beloved horse Freckles. She was such a good horse. But I know I'll see her again when my homeboy Jesus and I go riding together in heaven. Jesus rides horses as you know. And God and the Holy Spirit have used horses in the bible and to bless man in very many ways. I love wilderness horsepacking. (That's where the horses wear spiked rock climbing shoes.)

I love Lorenzo the Flying Frenchman's riding and want to ride in En Camargue in the South of France someday. Soon. ;o) Lorenzo reminds me so much of how my son and horses would play together.

I have been wanting to go to a powwow. And Sturgis. On a cool bike. (Actually I have a fantasy of rolling into Sturgis on the back of Mikey's bike. Like wouldn't that be just too hot?! Too cool?! Whatever?! I like Mikey. But then EVERBODY likes Mikey. Right? I don't think I would be too afraid to ride on the back of Mikey's bike. Well, why not? Sometimes fantasies do come true.)

My favorite ways to work out are hiking, and gardening. I would like to learn to kayak. I am interested in getting healthier and back in shape. I would like to lose the weight I gained and get toned again.

I have begun learning how to play old W. C. Handy blues and boogie woogie on my piano. I can be an excellent cook, and have the casual type of dinner parties where guests who are too full beg to take leftovers home. (The secret is to have everyone bring their favorite dish! lol) Ya know... grab a clean kitchen towel and come and join me standing by the sink! LOL just kidding. I can set a fancy table when need be.

I actively strive to leave this earth with it being a better place because I was a part of it. So I have been active in my community, and founded a successful volunteer based non-profit program providing equine facilitated therapy to those experiencing special challenges in my community, which has celebratied its 20th anniversary of service last year.

I own my own business and I am financially secure so I am free to be spontaneous. My background is business management and leadership.

Not only did I build my businesses, I built my business from the ground up. After years of watching "This Old House", and reading books on construction, I built my business and taught my son how to build. The building is flush, plumb, and level to 1/8". My son is a succesful contractor now, happily married with kids. I raised him as a single parent. I am divorced/widowed.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I am seeking loving supportive encouraging friends and those who are willing to pray for healing for me and my family.

I am seeking friends like my friends Shenettra and Bronzee! who have some beautiful and powerful words to share.

I am recovering from a serious depression, and making changes to become healthier. I am ready to start dating a little bit and get my toes wet, yet I am in no rush to settle down. I am feeling good about life.

For a dating relationship, I am seeking a strong romantic man with a gentle loving soul who can find the positive in situations. I seek a man with good character, honesty, kindness, wisdom, integrity, and values. I am seeking a Christian man who loves God and Jesus and is comfortable with caring and sharing. I seek someone strong in His word. I seek someone who likes to laugh. I seek someone who can be independent and is financially secure. Kids and grandbabies are wonderful, but can you get away and travel too?

I'd love to meet someone who enjoys being active, and doing things and creative projects. If I cook, and you'll do the dishes, I will do the same for you and we will be very happy in the kitchen. We could be even happier if we cooked something up together! (hint) :o)

I am interested to take some steps outside the box if you seek the same basics. I am interested in learning how to play golf. I seek someone who would like to leave this earth a better place.

I seek a man who appreciates a woman who will be an easy-going honest loving companion, partner, soul mate, lover, and friend whose love is true. Familiarity with God's word, belief in Christ, and living in the Holy Spirit is a tremendous plus.

God is good. I am in no hurry.
