Promoting and Networking with other native talents. Multicultural Native Presentations for public schools and Title VII programs in Colorado Springs. My journey to show strong visuals erudite prose dedicated to sensitively portraying the arts and life ways of Native Americans. As being a Native American Elder, I've learned many ways to keep my spirit in lined with Creator, new ways on how to communicate with Mother Earth and Creator. Its been such a blessing in my soul to share those traditions to the ones I love. It helped me pull through the toughest times. It has allowed my heart to distribute my energy to Mother Earth. Allowing my feelings and all the senses of my human self to determine where my energy goes; Bringing the aliveness from the earth through me and to the sky, set forth all that I have and from my soul, I, am blessed. Thank you Creator for who I am.As a Spiritual Warrior all things are spiritual and equal, all things have spirits and ordinary life are interconnected with our hearts. Ceremonies performed for attainment, not entertainment, dances, plays, stories – all have a spiritual significance. Keeping balance is done by our sacred ways to pray, for prey to the souls of animals killed, asking for forgiveness, and to the earth. We are grateful to soil for yielding crops to eat. All things are mutually dependent, as each must always behave in the same way (tradition) to maintain harmony. If this is not done, disaster will follow. Fasting is one our ways to receive visions for the Great Spirit. As mothers of newborns sew animal design on clothing of infant to give power of animal to a child or touch animals to child to obtain the power of animals for infant. The purpose of our stories is to teach people how to survive in the world. Stories may be told or sung, which the words carry special powers and are often preceded by the spiritual rites.Past Presentations (Click on links below for further details)
