I did not start singing professionally before graduating from university. So, I actually started claiming to be a singer after I returned from New York in 2001. I sang backups for so many different people. And I am highly grateful. Each single job told me something new, from Joy Denalane, Hattler, Della Miles, Katja Riemann to BANTU. It is fun performing.
