About Me

I'm Elizabeth,a Preschool Nurse for 86 very special children (my little angels) medically handicap, behavioral, developmental and speech delays ages 2-5 in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida. I really feel rewarded when I am able to give care to those children and educate their families.
This is my Heritage!
Both of my parents are from Cuba and in 1956 they wed and came to the US to Miami,Florida to live. In 1957 I was born and raised in Miami until 1973 when we moved to Ft.Lauderdale, Florida which is where I reside to this day with my Mom. My Dad though passed in 2003. I miss him so. RIP Dad!!I'm a caring,loving,compassionate, trustworthy person who still believes there is good in everyone! You just have to find the good in a person and forget the bad!~~I would say the greatest accomplishment I've achieved in life is my 24 year old daughter Vanessa who I basically raised on my own with the help of my parents cause her father passed away when she was 10 years old.Vanessa graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts in Miramar, Florida, Saturday, April 28th.,2007 at the Signature Grand and works as a chef in Orlando where she lives. I am very proud of her and her accomplishments!My daughter Chef Vanessa at Graduation April 28,2007..

My Interests

I would have love to have met my Grandfathers. Both pasted away in Cuba when I was very young and never got to meet them!

You cannot have too many Friends! Friends are most precious to have and very hard to keep. For life has its ups and downs, and if you manage to keep the friends you have, you are truly a wonderful friend yourself. My Late Dad use to tell me that you can count your true friends with the fingers of one hand. But I can count my true friends with the fingers of both hands and more,so I am truly blessed! God Bless everyone of my Friends and keep them healthy and well.~~A friend is a person who looks deep inside, accepts who we are with arms opened wide.A friend is a person with whom we can share, our thoughts and our dreams, and even despair.A friend is a person whose heart shows us love.A friend is a person from God up above.A friend is a person where trust is the key.I thank you all for being good friends to me!!
