The Frantics were formed in the winter of 1994 in Clinton, SC. We were originally called Durf 101 but changed the name because, well, the Frantics sounded much better. There was only one line-up change in Frantics history and that would come after Todd Hooks, our original drummer decided to leave to focus on college. He was replaced by Drew Perry who had been in the Frantics touted "inner circle" of friends for some time and fit perfectly with our mission of Loud and Fast R&R. Our band met hundreds of people in the 5 or so years we were together and the hope of this myspace page dedicated to our existenence is to reach out and find those who liked us in the past and remind them of that sliver of time in the late 90's when we all had a great time.
