I am a bookworm of the most severe sort, especially of fantasy series, and I write fantasy and sci-fi of my own.
I'm the kind of person who will rescue worms (not bookworms) from the sidewalk when it rains.
I wear my hiking boots on the weekends, even when I don't leave the house. And I wear them to the office, when I can get away with it. I'm a master of cubicle stealth, ducking into the nearest file room whenever the boss is about; flitting like a ghost behind the crowd of co-workers at the company meetings. They'll never catch me in my boots.
I spend way too much time in cafés, and I don't even drink coffee. I spend not nearly enough time in Argyll & the Isles.I'm probably one of the most shy people you'll ever meet, but I do laugh a lot, most often at myself. I am planet Earth's most uncoordinateÂd sober human, and a bit of a goof as well, so I provide myself with ample opportunity.ÂI study European languages for fun. Yes, fun! I speak a little of a LOT of languages. Which equates to, technically, none. Other than that, I spend my time: Hiking, eating Oreo cookies, mountain climbing, playing Oldies music on vinyl, avoiding math any way I can, trying to recall how to draw the cursive "Q" (anyone??), football, bowling, playing video games. There. That ought to put to rest any lingering doubts as to my nerdiness :)
