It’s one of those things you never chose for yourself. It’s like it chose you. I felt drawn to guitar at age 9. I’ve been in love with it ever since, and just like every love relationship it’s had it’s ups and downs. But ultimately this is who I am, this is what I do. I got tired of playing the odds of who I am “supposed” to be. To completely torture a cliché my guitar really IS “my power, my pleasure, my pain”.
My previous album “The Art Of Seduction” had success, especially on guitar9.com, however I’ve grown since last summer both personally and artistically (and I should also say technically). My new album is in the works, it should be released in 2008 under my own record label New Axis Records.
I have but a passing interest in the human race. All I care about is playing guitar. If I don’t talk to you it isn’t because I think I’m bigger/better/whatever. Nobody really exists in my world, so don’t take it personally. I don’t discriminate. Once you get pass that I’m a pretty nice guy.
Live, do what matters to you, play music. Life will be gone before you know it. Don’t worry about it. We all have to go sometime.
