If Anything Is Excellent Or Praiseworthy, Think On These Things!

About Me

I really love this life that God is allowing me to have. I consider myself very blessed. Of course, like everyone, I've known trouble and trails-but God has been a faithful friend through good and bad. I've been married for 25 years and we have three children-two are adults with families of their own and one is still at home because he's only four. Being a wife and mom has been and continues to be my heartbeat and joy; and my son and daughter-in-law have started me on a very wonderful journey into grandmahood with one grandson and a grandaughter on the way. And my daughter and son-in-law are hoping to add to the joy! I am a very happy "Ama". So, other than a few likes and dislikes-that's me!

My Interests

God and His precious, life-giving Word. My family and friends. Homeschooling. Preserving traditional family values.

I'd like to meet:

Nobody comes to mind at the moment.

Music:

I like most music except rap and raggae! If it's clean and fun-I'll listen.

Movies:

I haven't seen many recent ones. Life is Beautiful is one of my faves. Along with It's a Wonderful Life and Les Miserables. And I could watch Baby Boom or Father of the Bride (one or two) everytime it comes on tv...much to the irritation of my family. Big fan of Diane Keaton.

Television:

Eh, bored with it all to be honest.

Books:

Too many to mention. Almost always non-fiction..I'm too practical/boring for fiction. I also love children's literature.

Heroes:

Anyone who serves my country. This would include-my father, my son, my son-in-law and their families. And anyone who LOVES when it ain't so easy...
