After much prodding by my daughter Dale, I,m caving in on the my space thing. She tells me it's just a fancy email. Where to begin... Wife to Randy for 26 years and mom to two great kids, "Jack 15 and Dale 12". I am a most awesome gardener, terrific cook and obsessive houskeeper. Love to have small dinner parties and hear everyone brag on me, because I already know it's awesome. (like to toot my own horn - can you tell?) Love to watch my kids growing up and being able to communicate with them as an adult. They really surpise me sometimes. Like ... I didn't just hear that come out of your mouth, did I? I enjoy spending time with my standard collie "Dixie". She's a great frisbee and ball player, not to mention she loves me all the time! I am genuine, you may not like that about me sometimes, as I will probably tell you what you don't want to hear. I hope you as a friend would be that candid with me. I can work a crowd as good as anyone and appear to be quite friendly and outgoing, but the truth is I am a loner at heart. I love spending time with myself, reading, dinking around in the garden, canning fruits and vegetables,mushroom hunting (by myself),listening to music, messing around on the piano, taking walks along the river, fishing. I seek out estate auctions weekly. My bids are generally on vintage jewelry and/or clothing and sometimes a piece of furniture. Hanging out in antique shops is also a way in which I like to spend my time. I have recently taken and interest in body detoxification, the power of suggestion (self hypnosis) and fitting in Yoga when time allows. These are all good things and I find peace and happiness when exercising those things. As much as anyone else I love great food (Italian is my favorite) and of course no great meal complete wuthout a great wine. Wine is and has been a great passtime. WinetastingI have seen a great deal of the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Love Mexico - beaches and sunsets - we hope to retire there in the next 7-8 years. Vancouver BC is one of the prettiest places I've seen, however flying up to Mount McKinley was also pretty spectacular. I do not like the deep south. I lived in the hills of Arkansas for four years and Minnesota never looked so good after that. To be continued 1:00 AM 9/12/06
