I believe that music is an expressionI believe that modern commercialism has stifled musical creativityI believe bands should be able to be great musician not great businessmen.I believe that people should be able to choose what music they like, not have it forced upon them through homogeneity.I believe it is time for real music to be a force in the world again.I believe it is time to start changing things.I started this site because I have been in bands for years as well as being a frequenter of gigs and I have seen so many talented people get nowhere as they never got their "big break".These "breaks" aren't easy to come by. You have to be ruthless, understand self promotion, arrange gigs and then persuade people to come, pay for practices, get demos made up, manage mail lists, find money to get CDs printed and build a website. All this before artwork, merchandise and the boredom and admin of sending your songs off to a label, who may not listen to them anyway.Not all bands are good at this stuff, and I believe they shouldn't have to be. Bands need to be good at one thing: making music.
