About Me

Myspace LayoutsComplicated. Originally from So Cal. Love my baby dog Eliot. Finishing a PhD. Love to read, write, and talk about literature, religion, and philosophy. Love people who are funny, witty, and intellectually engaging. Extremely nuanced personality. Can be a bit nutty at times -- but that seems to be what people like best about me. Jewish literature and philosophy are rad. Darkness has the potential to illuminate more brilliantly than light. I have terrible dreams but I am fascinated by my nocturnal brain activity. I love music, modern art, and different countries and cultures. I laugh a lot, I cry a little more, and I'm full of great stories. I love chocolate and Mexican food, sushi and fancy martinis, foreign and indie films. I make the best martinis in town. I have a weakness for designer jeans and expensive shoes. I'm bad with money but I love to spend it on other people. I am an excellent cook, and a great thrower of soirees; my most successful party is the annual "Hanukkah With Monica" celebration. Please, don't ask to be my "friend" unless we already know each other. And, please don't hit on me.
