About Me

Ed Nicholson was a founding member of the Christian band Three Crosses and wrote more than 20 songs for the band, including the hit single from each of the bands first two albums; Just Another Sign of the Times and the number ..1 hit The Stone Was Rolled Away. Also included in his songwriting credits are the top ten hits, Gods House Strangers in the House Bring Me to My Knees Seven Days and Calvary. It was songs like these that quickly propelled Ed and the band into the limelight of the Contemporary Christian Music scene. He has toured with artists like Petra, Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, DC Talk, and The News Boys. After 5 successful years with Three Crosses, Ed decided to pursue a solo career in 1997.Part of that career involved using his experience in the music industry to consult with churches on developing contemporary music services. This led Ed to his current position of as President of Creative Vision Ministries. While continuing his responsibilities as a church worship developer, Ed maintains a busy concert schedule and is also in demand as a worship leader for conferences, retreats, and outreach events. He has even led worship for our nations former senate chaplain Lloyd Ogilvie.Through His involvement with Creative Vision, Ed works to develop new Christian Artists and Worship leaders. As a producer he has worked with Jon Sheptock on his new highly anticipated release Different due out in the U.S. in August.Along with recording albums and producing new artists, Ed still works in the mainstream Christian music market as a songwriter which lead him to write the 2005 hit Each Day of My Life for Wayburn Dean.Ed has just put the finishing touches on OUT OF MY HANDS, his first solo album that is packed full of crunching rhythms, insightful lyrics and smooth vocals. This album features Eds latest successful writing credit Restoration, a song that reached ..8 on the CCM charts for Phillips, Craig and Dean.
