Under Slow Construction: (I'm lazy.)

I live for me and things I love and,
I hate to say it but,
I'm not living my life for you.
However with that said, if you need a hand,
I'll be the first to lend one to you.
I've been dreaming about the future before life was born,
and for some reason, I still have faith in mankind.
Don't live everyday like it's your last,
enjoy them all like it's your last.
Just because your life is full, it doesn't mean it's fulfilling.
Life truly is a drug,
it can be an upper or a downer,
but it all depends on your state of mind.

I heard a minister say on t.v one time: "A saint is just a sinner who has stood back up." Now I'm not really the religious type, but man did he have a point....you can always stand back up if you realize your past mistakes and work to change them.

Germaine Greer: Feminist and author of the Female Eunuch, one of my favourite books.
George Orwell: My favourite author. A genius who understood what the present told about the future.
Monet: I am not a painter, but one thing we share is our impressionist nature. He understood the beauty of capturing a still moment.
Thomas Edison: Visionary. He understood science in a way I could never comprehend. He brought light to our dark and the flash to my camera. He also brought music home.
Walt Whitman: The only poet to ever fully capture my attention time and time again.
Andrea Poulis: My mommy. My first hero. She passed along her love for writing, photography, music and film on to me. The first person to also show me true feminism.
Pierre Elliot Trudeau: The greatest prime minister Canada ever had. He gave us our healthcare, old age pension and made Canada bilingual.
