Miss G

I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. My family and I also lived in Virginia for four years in the early 80s. I am the eldest of the ten children born to Anniedoll and Frank Grant, Sr. My mom passed away in December of 1998, so I am now blessed to have a step mom, Deborah and a step brother, Mark too. Mark is older than me. In July 2005, I moved to Georgia with my two wonderful daughters, Akilah and Angelena. I am certified to teach in both Michigan and Georgia. I taught science for three years at Sherrard K-8 School in Detroit. I currently teach Earth Science for Gwinnett County Public Schools in Georgia. I truly enjoy my job as a teacher. I view my work as a service unto the Lord. I am honored that He has entrusted me to touch the lives of children from various cultures. My prayer is that with each day that I stand before these children that they will experience His love through me. Throughout my life I have faced many difficulties and challenges. I have also made so many, many mistakes, but I have learned from them all. I have learned that no matter what happens in my life, that “God is the Author of My Life Story”. So, I put my trust in Him alone.
