I do not know its name; I style it 'Tao' - Lao Tzu

About Me

"Many words cannot fathom it; But look, it is in your heart"' - Lao Tzu About me? I’d like to know more about me too. Don't take anything I say or do too seriously unless I say so, I know I don't. lol Maybe I’ll tell you more, when I understand more of my self. It’s all good. Everything is as it should be. "He who knows men is clever; He who knows himself has insight. He who conquers men has force; He who conquers himself is truly strong. He who is content has great wealth. He who follows the Way devotedly is a man of steady purpose. He who stays where he has found his true home endures long. He who dies but perishes not enjoys real longevity." - Lao Tzu MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

good books, good movies, good music, good friends, camping and other outdoor stuff, pen and paper role playing, hangin out, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Tuina, Classical Chinese Medicine, forgetting, self cultivation (Ya, when I'm not being a dumb, lazy s?%t about it)

I'd like to meet:

Meeting anybody, anything, is good. There’s always something that can be shared, and learned. People that would fall under what I said in my heroes section would be people I would greatly enjoy meeting. "Why look for Tao by going 'down the scale of being' as if that which we call 'least' had less of Tao? Tao is great in all things, complete in all, universal in all, whole in all." - Chuang Tzu Maybe most of all I would like to meet myself.

Music:

I like most music. “The taste of love is sweet...when hearts like ours meet” - 'Ring of Fire' Johnny Cash

Movies:

Best movie ever, Princess Mononoke. Miyasaki is great. So is Akira Kurosawa's stuff. Star Wars, Indiana Jones. Too many to list. Movies that move me, and can speak to me. Gotta like the movies that can make you laugh too. Laughter and love, two very important things.

Television:

Does anyone really care what TV shows I watch.

Books:

Tao Teh Ching, Chuang Tzu, Raymond Feist's stuff, gotta love Tolken, Michael Moorcock, Roger Zelazny (look at me I'm manipulating shadow! lol) A Tai Chi book that's useful.

Heroes:

Not sure if I have any. That word is greatly over used. There are people whom I highly respect. What they all would have in common would be that they "let go"...they listen to their hearts...listen to the wind.
