Anno Domini is a multi-faceted talent: songwriter, producer, solo artist, rapper/mc and deejay. Coming out of Tacoma, WA, this east coast born, northwest pioneer has been recording and performing live since 1989. Tony Benton; Community Affairs and Local Music Director, states "Double Vision's music is very solid, very well produced and very much needed." In September of 2002, Anno along with his partner in rhyme Scarred Deep, released their first CD entitled "Virus tha EP". Anno Domini is currently recording his solo album, with an expectant summer 2004 release. He is also performing live at local churches, nightclubs and showcased at the "Glitta 5" rap off, which aired on Hip-Hop Nation early 2003. While embarking on his solo project, it must be stated that Double Vision is still a group, only separated at this time by distance. Scarred Deep is currently in Louisiana recording his solo album, and the two full-length albums will be packaged together as "Infection tha Album". Each member of Double Vision is a star in his own right, and has definitely paid the dues of expiring musicians. Having the opportunity to guest appear on Crow's "Method of Attack," a Graptree Records release, they have created a buzz in the Gospel Hip-Hop community. This is nothing new to Anno, being a former member of Criminal Nation. A controversial rap group, which sold over 200,000 copies of three albums released. Only this time, it is much more comforting and rewarding, due to the fact that the music is now being spread for the Gospel's sake. Anno Domini and Double Vision will fulfill their callings and make a major impact on their listeners with songs that are spiritual, political, and socially charged. Filling the gap of the current demoralized music industry, with a positive and definitive message of hope, love and peace, with a warrior's mentality.
