i think of you and see your face
no matter where I go!
Your lives were precious! Your Daddy loves you! All of your aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles,
cousins, grandparents, great-great-grandparents love you! We miss you terribly!
You can shed tears that she is gone or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back or you can do what she'd want: smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
Never doubt that one child's fight,bravery and courage can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever has!
My two-year-old great-niece, Jezebel Donnell,died January 14, 2007 with beaded Christmas garland wrapped around her neck about 3 time. My four-month-old-great-niece, Juliana;Jezebel's baby sister died October 17, 2005; the Medical Examiner ruled Juliana's death as SIDS. Jezebel's death is being investigated by the El RenoPolice Department. Help see that these twowonderful little girls receivejustice and that their deaths not go unnoticedby the Canadian County District Attorney. Thedetective working on the casesaid he is waiting on the final autopsy reportfrom the Medical Examiner Three reports weremade to DHS. The mother hadbeen in the hospital three times (threedifferent hospitals) since September 2006 formental health issues. She had alsotested positive for methamphetamine use duringher 2nd hospital stay. She was cutting andburning herself and also making S numerous emergency room visits to get painpills. She was also receiving DHS benefits andsupposedly attending school,which she very seldom did. January 1, the DHSbenefits were cut-off because she had not beenattending school. DHS did notonce check on the welfare of Jezebel. After mynephew was arrest for failure to comply withthe terms of his sentence,the mother left town. Her behavior was verystrange at the time of both girls' deaths, shedid not even want to have afuneral for Juliana, the baby who supposedlydied of SIDS. When Jezebel died, she nevereven cried. When I arrived atthe address where Jezebel died (within thehour), she was sitting on the neighbor's porchsmoking a cigarette. My nephewwas distraught, as was the entire family. Thebeads were wrapped around Jezebel's neck morethan once. The mother wassupposedly asleep next to Jezebel, how couldyou sleep next to your child and not know shewas struggling for her lastbreath. Jezebel's was above average size forher age. She probably weighed close to 40pounds and around 36" When my nephew found her, the blankets were covering her at least up to her face. She was suffocating! I don't understandhow she would have stayed under the blankets. She was struggling for her last breath. It looks like she would she havekicked the blankets off. My nephew said it appeared that she was just sleeping peacefully. He was not present at the time of either girls death.

The girl was the daughter of JesseDonnell, 27, and Casie L. Basford, 25. Another daughter, Juliana Donnell,4 months, died at the couple's home in October2005. The state medicalexaminer's office ruled the cause of death wassudden infant death syndrome. Jesse Donnell canbe heard in a 911 recordingreleased Thursday telling a dispatcher he camehome to find Jezebel unresponsive with thebeads around her neck. 'Mygirlfriend had put the baby to bed last nightand I guess she had some beads or somethingwrapped around her neck?' JesseDonnell said to a dispatcher. Basford failed toshow up Wednesday for a polygraph test, policesaid. She told police sheplans to speak to an attorney before giving aninterview about the child's death, Gillocksaid. Father nabbed on warrant.Police went to the couple's home at 403 NBickford Ave. on Wednesday and arrested JesseDonnell on an unrelated warrant,Gillock said. Jesse Donnell failed to complywith It-ordered conditions of a 2005 domesticabuse conviction, Gillocksaid. He received a one-year suspended sentenceafter pleading guilty to a misdemeanor charge,court records show. He wasbeing held Thursday in the Canadian Countyjail. On the 911 recording, Jesse Donnell isheard telling the dispatcher, 'Ilost one to SIDS last year. I don't want to ...I don't want to lose another one ... Pleasehurry, please.?' Jezebel wasdead when emergency workers arrived.

My family and I would appreciate and begrateful for help or assistance in gettingjustice for these two little girls.
Please write the Canadian County DistrictAttorney asking for a complete investigationinto the deaths ofmy two wonderful little nieces.
