the truth, (as far as i can remember) the cjd was cobbled together from bits of leaves and faeces that Dan Peters (Captain Pirateface) and Tazz Hajduk (J.Runk) found down the drains near the off licence... we used to drink 9 litres of white lightning a day so we needed some music to listen to whilst blotto! Dan had a bass and i nicked my mum's leftie acoustic and we passed out. when we came to, we had 3 songs ready to go and no idea how it happened!!! upon realising that we got a good reaction from friends and the like, we amped it up and went looking for a drummer. we originally wanted a girl cos people like girls but to no avail, first rehearsal we were recovering from a very heavy 3 days and at the last minute we were joined by mark little a.k.a joe mangel from neighbour's youngest son jasper little. we played the songs with no cymbals and thought that we had lost an hour cos of that thing with the seasons. we called up the crew and had our first gig at our first practice!!! jasper was otherwise commited so the search was on for some kind of hard living punk with a sense of humour and a liver made of diamonds. we stole Widget (Danny Fury) from an over complicated band of insaniacs called Another Day Lost and he filled the empty void that wasn't a hangover, better than we could have hoped! and thus pisstory was made. we played at some birthdays, and gigs started flowing in after we put on our own first proper show in aid of the tsunami fund (we raised 300 for the cuse and they took £500 behind the bar!! whe're are peeps priorities???) and we played all over brighton and worthing. this guy named Clifford Dowding liked us so much that he asked us to be on his corrupted compilation, we didn't have a recording so he did it for free!!! that's what you can hear on the site... recently Widget moved to mk and Dan went to london whilst i sit here in brighton lonely, but soon we were reunited ready to be punk in drublic once again!!! future plans include a full studio album and a line of clothing for shrews, voles and custom koala dungarees...just remember, cjd is for life, not just for pissedmas xxpeace out, up the punx, large as fuck, heavy flow!!!.. width="425" height="350" ..Cheer to Jenya for the 'To The Bar' music video NiCe OnE to TaZz 'N' DaN FoR MaKiN' 'NuThEr MuSiC ViD WhEn DrUnK!!!
