I'll get inside your face!

About Me

Where do I start??? I DJ at WET on College Avenue in Appleton every thursday and friday, so if your out and about downtown, stop in and say hi! I finally graduated from UWO after waaaaay to many years in college. I just finished my internship and started working fulltime as a marketing coordinator for a company called CareQuest. It's alot more work and responsibility than I've had in my previous jobs, but I suppose that's how things work in the real world! If you see me at the club,at a bar, or wherever, make sure to say Hi, I dont bite.
Im a very outgoing person and love meeting new people. In the little freetime i do have, i enjoy spending time with my girlfriend, friends and family just chillin and doin whatever. I'm a competative bodybuilder and in my last competition I finished a dissapointing 10th place in the superheavies at the JR.Nationals in Chicago. Once again. the judges told me I needed to be bigger for next year so im just gonna try as hard as I can to put on as much size as possible. I've decided to take this whole year off from competition and will be doing the 2008 Jr. Nationals and USA's! Wish me luck, I'm gonna need it!
****PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT**** There are all kinds of stereotypes that come along with being a bodybuilder. Unfortunately, most of them are negative. I hate to be cliche, but dont judge a book by its cover. The truth is, im just like any other guy, only a little bigger!!
I get a lot of questions here on myspace about what my motivation is for bodybuilding and I figured i'd put it right on my profile for everyone to see. While I'd be lying if I said i didnt enjoy being big, its about so much more than that. Its a common misconception that bodybuilders are all about vanity. For me, and many bodybuilders its about chasing dreams. Its about having a passion for something that is so strong you are willing to make unreal sacrifices. I put so much time and effort into what I do because when im old, i never want to look back and have regrets that i didn't give it everything I had. When I was young, i didnt say I wanted to be in a 9 to 5 job for 40 years, I wanted to be a bodybuilder, and at 27 years old im still working towards that goal. As with any professional sport, there's a good chance I may never make it as a bodybuilder, but i want to be confident that there isnt anything more that I could've done to reach my goals. Too many people give up on dreams in life for a multitude of reasons and I dont want to be one of those people. I used to work at a GNC and I'll never forget the advice that I got from some elderly woman who I'd never met before. She payed me a few compliments on my physique and asked me if i was working out for competition. I told her that I did in fact compete and one day hoped to be a professional, but that turning pro is extrememly difficult in bodybuilding. She said "son, Im 75 years old and don't know the first thing about bodybuilding, but what I do know is that there are no guarantees in life that you will succeed, no matter how hard you are willing to work. However, if you give up on something because it may seem too difficult, I CAN guarantee that you won't succeed." It was one of the most inspirational things anyone has ever said to me. It's strange how the best advice can come from the most unlikely of people!

My Interests

Bodybuilding, UFC, Football, DJing, Old Cars...stuff like that!..

I'd like to meet:

Being that I live in a rather small city, myspace seems to be a great place for me to meet other people who share the same passion for bodybuilding as I do that I may never meet otherwise. However, I have all types of friends, so I am definately NOT just looking to meet people who are into bodybuilding and fitness. Good friends come in all shapes and sizes!!

Music:

I'll listen to pretty much anything.

Movies:

Gladiator, Armageddon, Man on Fire, Dumb & Dumber, Napoleon Dynamite, Men Of Honor, Radio.....

Television:

Overhaulin, Wrecks to Riches, Seinfeld, Mad TV, Extreme Home Makeover(Yeah, I said It!!!)

Books:

I dont get too much time to read, but I prefer biographies. Stories of peoples actual accomplishments interest me more than fiction.

Heroes:

Michael Jordan, Steve Prefontaine, Walter Payton, Arnold Schwarzennegger, Lance Armstrong, Dick Hoyt.
