Yemi’s TV presenting career started nearly four years and 2000 hours of live programming ago! Initially cutting his teeth on gaming channels; he quickly moved through the ranks to the sunnier climes of Sky Sports and MTV.........................................................
He co presented “Pop The Q!†with Caroline Flack on MTV Hits and TMF. A fun Sunday afternoon magazine show with music videos, prizes and celebrity gossip......................................................
Yemi’s likeable, fun and cheeky persona both off and on screen have gained him brilliant rolls on various shows. Presenting “The Casual Gaming Show†(CGS) on X – League TV with live studio audience and cutting edge console gaming action......................................................
He was also asked to host his own travel show by Sky TV Travel, “Go Jamaica with Yemi.†Seeing him jet off to the Caribbean to get involved with a host of holiday activities, like swimming with Dolphins....................................................
He also presented “Play Sudoku†on ITV2 – capturing the enthusiasm of the nation when the brain teasing craze first began.......................................................
Yemi has travelled to Australia, Thailand, and America but found a passion for diving whilst in Kenya – and now has his full ADVANCED Open Water Divers license.....................................................
Currently he’s just completed his first two shows for Sky Sports; “Sailing The Sky†where he got to pilot a beautiful 20m glider. And “Ultimate Sports†covering the world Beach volleyball championships, Footvolley Championships and Ultimate Frisbee Championships...............................................
Alongside his TV career, Yemi is also a professional Compere. Hosting events for Disney Channel, Sky One and BBC 1 at the Edinburgh Festival. Currently he is the official Compere of the London 2012 Olympics Roadshow. A pretty big honour......................................................
When not on telly Yemi is a part time model and DJ. Featuring in campaigns for Bacardi, QVC, Rankin’s Euro 2008 campaign and was also one of Company Magazines most Eligible Bachelors 2005! (Very weak screening process.) He has also been DJing bars and clubs for the last 10 years with a very soulful brand of deep house.......................................................
