In every beat his challenge is to make people understand his vision with music and where he wants to take the new generation of hip hop. It’s been hard for Lex because no one seems to see his vision except the people he knows. Ask any of his friends about how they feel about his production and they will tell you that it should be on the radio and given to the world so they to can experience Savour’s production.It started back in junior high when Lex was working for a program for the youth called Clean and Green, he and a friend at the time were talking about how much they loved music and wish they could be a part of it. After his friend and Lex agreed that they to can also make music Lex started write rhymes. After writing rhymes Lex would flow over instrumentals but he soon would have to search for beats never heard by anybody to record his songs. In high school Lex was introduced to Jonathan, now known as John Kovacs of Dusty White the band, and sold Lex his first instrumentals. After Johnny had shown the music program he was using to make beats, Lex noticed that he to had a similar version of the program back home but never tried to use it. Once Lex went home he started to mess with the program Cool Edit and started making rough beats with samples. Hanging around Johnny, Lex learned about the Underground music scene where he discovered that music was a form of self expression and everybody wanted to release their emotions over music, beat boxing or even banging on walls and trash cans. Lex fell in Love with music and has not looked back.During his period of learning music he has met people of have changed his life, either for the good or the bad. Now Lex feels like he is still growing with his music but it is time to let the world know who is Lex and where he wants to take the next generation.
