TJAY

TJAY was born on November 13, 1985. Often told that he was a musician from birth , he grew up singing with his father and mother at different church events. His mother being a great cornerstone in his career; serving as a manager and a strong supporter. He began to train as a minister of music. His forte being drums and vocalization. As life experiences progressed, such as the death of his grandparents, father, and a close friend his walk with Christ deepened. It was during these times that he would sit and write songs. This is where he learned the power of music.
Since the age of 14, TJay has appeared on numerous network showcases such as BET and MTV. In 2004, he graduated from the world renowned Choir Academy of Harlem, which is known for the famous Boys Choir of Harlem. In his duration there his vocal talents were extensively trained and cultivated. He learned to execute very difficult pieces (i.e. Handels Messiah). Tjay has traveled the United States extensively and has been featured overseas. He hopes that his humble spirit and unique personality will touch the hearts of many in the world. TJay lives by the 3 letters which spell JOY. Jesus first, Others in between, and Yourself last.
