Aaron Cotton, a native of Austin, Texas, was first introduced to the classical guitar at the age of 9. He started with a rudimentary study of the guitar and then changed studios to study with Carlo Pezzimenti. By the age of 12, he was already performing in public for special events and caf.. concerts. Since that time, Aaron has continued to perform in various places and events throughout Texas, and in 2001, he was invited to go to England to give several recitals. In 2004, he graduated with his B.A. in Music from Texas Womans University, Denton, Texas. Aaron has participated in many master classes with internationally acclaimed guitarists such as Christopher Parkening, Manuel Barrueco, Juan Carlos Laguna and Ernesto Garcia de Leon. Currently, he is performing on more national and international basis as he enjoys traveling. Most recently in 2005, he has just returned from Madrid, Spain and Taipei, Taiwan where he gave several concerts. He also gave a small tour of Texas with his teacher and mentor Carlo Pezzimenti performing concerts in Dallas, Austin and San Antonio. In February 2005, he was invited to play at the SCI (Society of Composers, Inc) Region VI conference at the University of Texas in San Antonio, where he performed a new work for guitar by Andrew Walters. In September 2005, he was invited to play at the University of Evansville, Indiana and also gave a concert in Owensboro, Kentucky. In August 2005, he was the recipient of the 1st place award from the 2005 Eastfield College Classic Guitar Festival and Competition in Mesquite, Texas. In December 2005, Carlo and Aaron were invited to record a CD of guitar duets on the Mapleshade record label in Washington DC, which was featured on WorldSpace International Satellite Radio and on National Mexican Radio station. In March 2006, Carlo and Aaron were invited to perform selections from their new CD at the San Fernando de los Rios Cultural Center in Madrid, Spain. During the Fall 2006, Aaron recorded a solo CD that will be released in December 2006. Most recently Aaron was invited to perform several concerts in Taiwan at the National Tsing Hua University, in Hsinchu, Taiwan, including a lecture-performance at the Taiwan National University of the Arts (TNUA), in Taipei, Taiwan Aaron plays on a guitar hand constructed by Ignacio Rozas in Madrid, Spain.

Aaron Cotton na diu d’Austin, Texas, inicia els estudis de guitarra a l’edat de nou anys. Més tard però, comença a estudiar amb Carlo Pezzimenti. Ja als dotze anys oferia concerts púlics.
L’any 2004 es gradua a la Texas Woman’s University a Denton, Texas. Rep classes magistrals del mestres Christopher Parkening, Manuel Barreuco, Juan Carlos Laguna i Ernesto GarÃca de León. L’agost de l’any 2005 és guardonat amb el primer premi al Eastfield College Classic Guitar Festival and Competition a Mesquite, Texas.
Cotton actua a la Univeristy of Evansville, Indiana, i a San Fernando de los Rios a Madrid. El 2006 completa una gira per Taiwan incloent actuacions al Taipei National University of the Arts i a la National Tsing Hua University, a Hsinchu.
