A talking monkey, 'nuff said.
Kraftwerk, Sufjan Stevens, The Libertines, The Who, The Kleptones, Bloc Party, Matisyahu, The Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Oasis, Blur, Dizzee Rascal, Sway, Doves, Franz Ferdinand, The Decemberists, The Futureheads, Gary Numan, The Go Team, The Hives, Idlewild, Interpol, Sigur Ros, Muse, and loads of other stuff.
Trans-Europe Express by Kraftwerk is my favourite album.
This is Spinal Tap, Star Wars (not the crappy new ones), Snakes on a Plane. I also enjoy foreign language cinema, as they lack the rubbish CGI and poor acting from so-called "great" actors, on a low budget they pull of some total classics, like Goodbye, Lenin! for example.
Silent films should also be appreciated, I love Buster Keaton, Nosferaut eine Symphonie des Grauens and The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari.
Seinfeld, CSI, Lost, The Mighty Boosh, House, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, Family Guy, The Simpsons before it got crap, Futurama, The Day Today, Nathan Barley, The Daily Show, Colbert Report, Brasseye, Monkey, Mitchell and Webb etc.
Anything that is remotely challenging and makes you think.
Zinedine Zidane, the greatest player of my lifetime. The guy who invented Animal Crossing. That Lithuanian bald guy. Lance Armstrong. Monty Panesar. Michael Vaughn.
