"A Clothes Encounter" 06/11. See invite

I carry at least 2 different books with me at all times, one to write in, the others to read. I am a military brat, college graduate, actor, student of life, colorful in personality, diverse in every sense of the word and a free spirit with a Southern flare. I've been told countless times that I have an old soul. I'm the product of 2 beautifully infused cultures (African-American & Korean) and I call the beautiful city of Atlanta, my home and have lived here long enough (12 years) to be considered a "Georgia Peach." I love everything about the South, from red velvet cake, to college football, to listening to crickets and watching lightning bugs on a humid summers night. I love wrap-around porches, magnolias, fishing, even a classic southern drawl. I'm a University of Georgia alumnus (Go Dawgs!) and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Drama. I value education a great deal and I believe it is the one thing no one can take away once you've obtained it. I am drawn to things that have natural beauty and charm. I hate facades and the self-aborbed. I feel that southern hospitality is not just a cliche, but a way of life down here. I believe that respect is ALWAYS mandatory. I'm a Lady first, yet a tomboy at heart, BUT STILL a Lady. I don't cook because it's no fun cooking just for 1, plus I'm really no good at it. My mother says I'll never get a husband that way, but it's ok. I'll learn when I start a family, or I'll just marry a chef:) I'm handy in other ways like yard work, trimming hedges, mowing lawns, home improvement projects, and assembling furniture. I drive a pickup truck named, "Blue" and I finally like how I look in dresses... AND heals...AT THE SAME TIME. I never rock designer handbags, only my Grandmother's vintage clutches. I'm taken to another place at the sound of Sam Cooke's voice. I'm a hopeless romantic and I do believe in love. I'm silly and I secretly find nerds attractive! I have a really BIG heart. I love laughing and hugs and can make friends anywhere I go. Educators, military soldiers, and stay-at-home moms are my favorite group of people. I NEVER cry over spilled milk. I don't waste time or energy on arguments, life just has waaay too many joys. I've been told my "standards" are high, yet I consider them quite minimal and that's all that matters. I do get butterflies in my stomach when I have a crush on someone! In fact, I thrive off of it;) I'm young at heart but certainly not young-minded. I'm not just a hand full, I'm actually 2 of 'em.
