Goodjohnson

Goodjohnson are a Sydney indy/melodic/funk band who have been putting their rainbow-coloured sounds out there since 2006. Dave Gertler, bass player and lead singer, is accompanied on drums and backing vocals by Tull Kidron, and Suwindi Kadir on backing vocals.
Cosmitude, Goodjohnson's debut EP, is a collection of 5 of the nicest tunes that Goodjohnson have incorporated into their live set in the last few months. The EP, produced and engineered by Dave, tries to capture the sparse instrumental arrangements and three-part harmonies that Goodjohnson provide in their live set, whilst also incorporating instrumental ideas that capture the imagination of listeners and audiences. The Cosmitude EP will be pressed later this summer pending funds and artwork being finalised, with Sydney and possible Melbourne launches planned for Feb/March 2009.
