About Me

Me? I'm just an average guy, with a good job, and a good future. I live in a crappy apartment, with my roomy but I have no complaints, because things could be a lot worse. Ok, Ok, gas prices could be alot lower, theres a complaint. I'm opinionated, love life, and the things it brings. I guess you can say I'm finally grounded. Life has this goofy way of humbling you when you need it. Recent experiences have really opened my eyes and are giving me a path that until recently was pretty much unseen. I'm sure that makes no sense to some people but its speaking to me and thats all that matters. I travel alot to visit friends due to most of them being in others areas. The bay area is growing on me though, there is quite a bit I haven't experienced here and find new things daily. I'm currently taking classes at a local college and love where its taking me. I've got a good shot at getting the job I want as long as I stay focused and work hard towards it. So I am a pretty simple guy, I love the things I love and am open to new things and new people. I'm one of those people who finds friends wherever I go. I'm a libra and if you know anything about them, most of what I'm saying is the definitive Libra. I'm a sucker for a pretty face and love spoiling the people that deserve it, and a few that don't ;-) Beyond this you'll just have to find out for yourself.--(Favorite quote for the moment)-- "Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not, nothing is more common then unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not, unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not, the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. " - Calvin Coolidge

We are entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. Weve all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't!!! And we're slowly learning that fact. We're consumers. We are by-products of a lifestyle obsession. Murder, crime, poverty, celebrity magazines, television with 500 channels, some guy's name on your underwear. Rogaine, Viagra, Olestra. versatile... This is your life, and it's ending one minute at a time. Never be complete. I say, stop being perfect. I say, let's evolve and let the chips fall where they may...
Your Birthdate: October 12
Being born on the 12th day of the month (3 energy) is likely to add a good bit of vitality to your life. The energy of 3 allows you bounce back rapidly from setbacks, physical or mental. There is a restlessness in your nature, but you seem to be able to portray an easygoing, sometimes "couldn't care less" attitude. You have a natural ability to express yourself in public, and you always make a very good impression.Good with words, you excel in writing, speaking, and possibly singing. You are energetic and always a good conversationalist. You have a keen imagination, but you tend to scatter your energies and become involved with too may superficial matters.Your mind is practical and rational despite this tendency to jump about. You are affectionate and loving - but very sensitive. You are subject to rapid ups and downs. An armed guard with a small portion of the almost 12 BILLION dollars worth of shrink wrapped 100 dollar bills shipped to Iraq on pallets "I have no idea. I can't tell you whether or not the money went to the right things or didn't - nor do I actually think it's important." - David Oliver - Financial Advisor to head of the Coalition Provisional Authority, Paul Bremer. This was his comment when asked about 8.8 BILLION in CASH that has no record to where or who it was dispersed. I understand this wasn't American tax payers money but don't you think some of this money maybe, just maybe made it into the hands of someone who bought the parts for a car bomb? Maybe you can understand why this is a country full of people pissed at the U.S.? This money was supposed to be used to rebuild a country. This doesn't make me proud to be an American!

Books:

At the moment I'm reading the Slight Edge, my grandfather likes to send me self help books, most are very much worth the read. They tend to be the type of books that are inspiring and empowering not just the get rich quick schemes. The book before was Angels and Demons by Dan Brown which was excellent. Waiting on my dresser is Earth Odyssey by Mark Hertsgaard. I read about half of "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey, after all the B.S. I put it down. I recommend reading Lucky Man by Michael J. Fox. The Five People You Meet in Heaven and Tuesdays with Morrie are both EXCELLENT books. Monkey Wrench Gang by Edward Abbey, great book! The Dark Tower series by Steven King, Michael Crichton, J.R.R Tolkien. Of course the Harry potter series, although I have only read the first book. I did listen to the Prisoner of Azkaban on tape though.
