To be a Pile is to:to drink Double Jack and Cokes. to sleep on the couch with no blankets. to get pissed for being charged full price. to "know" the Bartender. to fall over drunk. to show up and realize that everyone is wearing a black t-shirt, and you didn’t even plan it that way. to have an in-depth knowledge of all the drink specials in town...and to plan your night accordingly. to never pay the cover. to avoid bars where jocks, frat boys, assholes and tools make their home. to not know the difference between Coke and Diet, but between Jack and Gentleman Jack. to always have a drink in hand. to Bowl an dstill have a drink in hand. to address your fellow Piles as “Pile” as in, “Hey Pile, ” and “What up, Pile?” to wear the same clothes two days in a row because you couldn’t drive home the night before, and the party started early. To consider karaoke an art. to know more about the bands next door than the bands on TRL. to be out every night. to make housing choices based on walking distance to watering holes. to think of a visit to the Chumash Casino as a valid and reliable source of income. To "drunk dial." to discover the next dive, and bail when everyone else discovers it too. to take are of your fellow Pilez when the Jack hits a little too hard, and to give them shit about it the next day.
