About Me

Rhythms of Peace festival < PEACE (Purely Experiencing Absoulute Cosmic Enlightenment a> Thank,s Oscar for the banner Garreth's tattoo Logan's Justin's life. "Live life to the fullest." These are words Justin Walker lived by. Life was a never ending party and Justin learned to enjoy ever minute of it and spread the joy to all who surrounded him. Throughout Justin's teen years he battled the disease of addiction. Chemical dependency is a powerful disease that affects millions of people in all walks of life. It doesn't show mercy to age or class. And once the addiction has grasp on you, you may never fully recover. The battle was on going and Justin fought it long and hard. But in the end it was the last battle he fought and lost that ended the war. Justin's death was tragic and untimely. However after returning home from Palm Beach Florida, where he had been in treatment followed by a halfway house, Justin made choices that ultimately ended his life. What happened that night we may never know the whole story of. However after using heroin at a friend's house, Justin fell into a coma. Justin's friends and adults parents were near by but did not want to call for help, in fear that they too would find themselves in trouble. . By the time help arrived Justin was barely hanging in their. His body began to shut down until it could hang in no longer. That morning of January 22nd, 2006 a soul was taken up from us that we will never forget Justin left us with many life lessons, from love to hope, to laughter and fun. But the one lesson we feel should be learned from his death is as followed: If at anytime you are with or near someone who is has over dosed or is potentially at risk of over dose on any type of substance CALL FOR HELP RIGHT AWAY. Do not put yourself before them. Because in the end it is that call that will determine their fate. If Justin had received help an hour or so earlier the doctors say he would have made it.In the short 17 years Justin was with us on earth so many lifes were positively affected by him. Many people have stated that after meeting Justin once you felt like you had a new best friend. And best friend to many he was. When he walked into a room he brought is powerful positive energy with him. It was this energy, smile, and love for life that made him who he was. Hugs were given out all the time and he always had witty things to say. Trouble was his middle name but it was nearly impossible for anyone to stay mad at him. All you would do is look in his eyes and he would smile and say he was sorry and you couldnt help but forgive him. Justin made friends throughout the country. As an avid music festival goinger he travel all over to enjoy the music he loved. He made friends everywhere. While in various treatment centers Justin created bonds with people that will last a lifetime for them. Because memories are ment to be held close. And Justins time on earth with us was a box full of memories that make so many smile. We will never forget the young man who came into our lives and transformed so many even with his death. Rest in Peace Justin.Heidi H. ............................................................ ....... Erika new tattoo "; " "peace&love" art work
