About Me

KiDisS Has been in the Rap/underground scene in Vancouver for many years. His networking with other Artists, Producers, and basic urban music fans has "Helped greater the visual ear on Vancouvers hardworking artists". The producers' that he has worked with include DubGee, J. Lewis a.k.a Nebula (One), Deja, Syntax and Cedric And Jay Whyte, From Fate Of Kings Ent.Starting at the age of 12, Kidiss never thought that he would have excelled to this level of a talent just by putting together a few words. Even though he spent most of his time shut in his room writing and writing to the same beat, he tried to make the flow of his lyrics different every time. A new style every time. So when given other beats, he found himself open to the world. Starting by doing remixes of some of his favorite artists and trying to make his song better than the original mix.Kidiss Found his ground with music when he realized that the only thing that is played on the radio, are all of the artists WORST songs ever, compared to the rest of their songs on the album. The local Artists' from B.C and Canada make better music then half the artists played on the radio.Kidiss wanted his music to stand out more than others, so he made it his goal to bring Underground Music , to a mainstream level, without being bossed by restrictions on content. He wanted to make music that people he randomly met on the street would like. After all those are who you want at your shows.Kidiss' main influences are Tupac, Necro, Non-Phixion, Kool G Rap, Tech N9ne, Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Method Man and Redman, Missy Elliot, Classified And many moreArtists that he has done shows with include of Asylum Ave : Vicious 5150, RC Tha Hazard, All Inclusive, DTG And Omen. Dub Gee,Shantos Attar, Mr. Freeze and Illy Da Kid, Faze, Matthew Myers, T-Funk. He has Also worked with Kelvin Smoler, Demon And Blitz, Kelsey Benning, Jerrod McG, Dj Leaf and Dj RapskallionKidiss has also put his time in for the community. In November 2007, Kidiss started working for Greater Vancouver Family services, and was making beats alongside Dubgee, a longtime local mentor for artists in Vancouver.Unfortunatley the program was no longer able to be funded. But another program opened up that had to do with at risk or homeless youth, and Kidiss jumped on that right away. even though he was no longer getting paid he wanted to help. The program had some of the most talented youth he had seen that could rap. The time he spent with them the main Facilitator created a group Called "The Young Prophecy Army" and since , all the youth in the program where able to atleast have a stable , healthy, clean warm lifestyle.Discography 2005 : Lethal Thoughts PT.1 (Demo) 2007 : F*cked up2008 : Featured on - The Benny Demo - Young Prophecy Army - Voices Of The Streets - Young Prophecy Army2008 : Kidiss Solo Album - The Next Best ThingComing up2010 : The Masters Of Ceremonies - Kidiss Follow up album2010 : Lethal Thoughts PT 2 : Revenge Of The Wackand many more to come
