He was surrounded by his family , enjoying holidays, being listened to by his grandchildren (sailor stories), ate his favourite food, drank his favourite drink, went for a swim (he loved the sea) and then died of a stroke. It looked as if he had laid down to rest on the sand...and then , nothing more.
