TRUE STORY: Austin Texas, June 14th 2007: on tour with The Hi-Lites, hot as hell outside, MUGGY, we are barbequing and laughing about topics. A thunder and lightning storm rolls in quick without waiting and we keep on sitting out in the rain and laughing about it. I steal kisses from James and then the band folks swarm in their different routes to get ready for a show that night. James and I head to the van to tidy it up after it had been lived in and out of by ten people for six days. It is pouring outside that van, and inside we are talking about anything, and James looks at me and says, "Em, would you give me the supreme honor and privelege of becoming your husband?" and I look at him and I say "YES"
