I was born in 1954 in Lawrence, Ma. After high school 1974. I went in the Air Force as a cook. After boot camp San Antonio Tx. came tech school in Denver , Co. Came home to see my son being born. I was stationed at Maxwell, Montgomry , Al.I was there for 6 Months, the dining hall went to a civilian contract.From there I went to Scot AB near St Louis, Mo.I was there for 13 months. Then off to Bitberg, Germany, for two years. I then went to Whiteman AB Mo. For 5 yrs. Then to Plattsburg, N.Y. for 3 years, was asigned to a moble unit and went tdy (temporary duty) alot,even going to Korea for an excercise.I got out of active duty and went into the reserve to finish my 20 yrs. During Desert Storm I got activated and spent the time at Westover AB Ma. I never went ,but we sent 12 people from our unit. All in all I had 14 yrs active. Retired in 1994. I have sat on a northern tradional drum called the 101 singers (one-o-one) for 9 years inwhich we drumed at many New England powwows,and we traveled to Fairbanks Alaska in 2001 and in 2002.To be they'er guest drum In 2004 the group went different ways.In 2006 I was asked to sing with another Northern traditional drum. After singing with for 3 years I left trying to get 101 back together. There were 4 of us that continued. Another drum were on the verge of a breakup so we combine the two. We are the Northern Coup Singers. I am a traditional dancer when not drumming.
