I like to sew (costumes and dress-up stuff,) collect books about Things People Used to Believe, and explore the world around me. I hide in a cave most of the year, planning the Fabulous Parties where I will venture to the surface once every six months and try to be charming.
I enjoy quantification, money and craftiness.
Most of my pursuits have something to do with social history, and right now am very much amused by quackery, Victorian fancy dress balls and, specifically, La Fête Sanguinaire.
