About Me

For over 20 years I have explored and trained in various martial arts. In 1999 I was certified in JKD/Progressive fighting systems under Paul Vunak. I continue to research various martial arts, such as boxing, Jujitsu, Greco-Roman wrestling, Muay Thai, Catch wrestling, Kali, etc. My other great passions include philosophy (by which I do not mean clinging to some dogma or the blind acceptance of another's systems or formulations, but rather an open and questioning attitude toward life itself)and science. Also, meditation, art, reading, poetry...I am a thorough-going skeptic and naturalist (i.e. I have no belief in the super-natural)but I am extremely interested in human-kind's spiritual inclinations and the evolution of spiritual ideas...
